Can't Access Specific URL

I am not able to access https://patchdb.manageengine.com/ from Domain Controller (Windows Server 2019) but I am able to access https://patchdb.manageengine.com/ from the rest of network.

Even after disabling the firewall on Windows Server still not luck. I am out of ideas to diagnose this problem.

I can confirm no access here either. Looks like you can email them here support@manageengine.com for support / troubleshooting connectivity issues.

@DSPatrick I am allowed to connect to this site by manageengine and I am able to visit this site from all devices on my network except Windows Server.

You've asked in microsoft forums about a third party site authorization. We wouldn't have any way to know the underlying mechanism for their site. Looks like you can email them here support@manageengine.com for support / troubleshooting connectivity issues.

Hi ,

What's the result when you run nslookup patchdatabase.manageengine.com directly? In my lab, I can Nslookup patchdatabase.manageengine.com successfully, but ping doesn't work.

If you are in the same situation as me, the phenomenon should be more related with third-party website. As Dave said, you could contact website provider to do further support.

If Nslookup patchdatabase.manageengine.com doesn't work, then it should be a DNS forwarder related issue. Then we could do further troubleshooting.

Same results, even from devices I am able to access the site. But still can't ping it.

Not really telling of anything. ICMP echo may be blocked by site management.

@CandyLuo-MSFT @DSPatrick I spoke to Manage Engine about this issue, they are saying it's windows server firewall issue. Any Suggestions
