We are doing servicing to a newer versions. With many users working from home, I have set the servicing update download the package directly from Microsoft instead of pulling it from one of our distribution sites. However, I cannot see this update appear anywhere in Software center. I have run the eval cycles in Configuration Manager multiple times. Is there a step I am missing?

Based on the above description, it is difficult for us to determine the specific cause.
We may firstly check PolicyAgent.log (C:\windows\ccmsetup\Logs) on the client to see if the policy has been received.

Thanks for your reply. What specific information am I looking for in the log file? What will show that the policy has been received?

Here is an answer to your question that hopefully you find helpful!
In my lab, I did the following test for reference only:
After we create a deployment and deployment policy based on your settings on the CM console, the client will receive the policy on the next policy evaluation cycle.
Firstly, we add the "Deployment Unique ID" column in the console to find the "Deployment Unique ID" of the deployment. For the deployment in the following example, the deployment unique ID is {D8781F3E-F7A9-442E-876F-76690B2F85F2}. Like below screenshot:

Policy Agent receives the policy on manual policy retrieval or on schedule. When policy is received, According to the "deployment unique ID" on the console, the following entries can be found in PolicyAgent.log(Records requests for policies made by using the Data Transfer Service.):

Thanks again for your reply. So I have identified the Deployment Unique ID as 0a4b946a-c87e-4230-a435-f36ddbff5a3d. I do see it in the log file. I see several events for it and it looks like it has applied. But the servicing has still not made it to the machine 84457-policyagent.log
