Hi,

Maximum threads per package: Specifies the maximum number of threads assigned to each package during distribution. Specified value should be between 1 and 999.
What is meant by Thread here?

A thread is a unit of work in computing. Thus, each thread assigned for this setting equates to a unit of work able to send a stream of data for that package to the targeted distribution points when content is replicated or sent to them.
