When SCOM 2019 is installed what account allows one to open the Ops console and add a user or security group as admin of the Ops console?

In other words, the installation account domainfun\accountA which in the local admin group of the management servers finishes the setup successfully. Will the domainfun\accountA be able to open the Ops console and add someone as the Ops Console administrator role? In other words can any account which is local admin open the Ops console and give role to other users and security groups to includ the Ops Console administrator role or is this permission provided only to the installation account (i.e. domainfun\accountA).

What is the purpose of having an installation account versus using a user account to install?

    Hi,

The users in local administrators can open the console and add other users to the Operations Manager Administrators role. The installation user account should be a member of local administrators. The purpose of setting up an installation user account is for management requirement in most cases.
