Getting Started with C++ and REST

Question

Windows 10, Visual Studio 2019.
The goal is an application to visit a selected web site and get trading information about some crypto coins. I have coded C++ but never REST and never any apps that access internet sites. I cannot find a good search term that leads me to a tutorial towards meeting this goal. Please point me to a good place visit and read.
