I'm planning on upgrading from 2012 R2 to 2016. I haven't found many details on this, but I want to use the same IP and host name. My process I have planned is this.

use the migration tool and export from 2012R2
import file on 2016
disconnect 2012R2 from domain
name 2016 the same host name and assign the same IP address as 2012R2
join 2016 to domain

Will this work? We have 29 printers
