I tried creating a 2 new policies under recovery service vault and select same VM in the 2nd policy, but I am not able to list that VM when I add back up. is this the limitation in azure?

VM and the vault must be on the same region.

VM can be attached to only one policy.

Thank you Bechair!!! I was able to understand that after digging some MS documentation.

Why can't I see my VM in the Configure Backup wizard?
The wizard only lists VMs in the same region as the vault, and that aren't already being backed up.
