Hey I need help with this issue I've had so today I was playing Valorant and for some reason, my temps in Val are always higher than any other game normally I average around 40 degrees C in CPU temp and GPU temp in games like Fortnite, etc. so In the middle of my game my screen turned black and I was confused so I went on and checked event viewer a critical error saying the pc hasn't rebooted cleanly I've had this problem before and I sent my graphics card in for warranty to Nvidia and was told nothing was wrong with it I also have these errors before or right after a crash Error setting traits on Provider {8444a4fb-d8d3-4f38-84f8-89960a1ef12f}. Error: 0xC0000001 and Audit events have been dropped by the transport. 0 after I sent it in I got a new MOBO and that fixed the problem but I'm not sure if I should be worried as when my pc crashed I got back on and waited like 10 mins then tried to play a song on Osu! and instantly crashed again black screen and full blast fans. After another reboot I decided to stress test my GPU via heavens benchmark and like 2 seconds in black screen and full blasting fans after about a 5 min break I reboot my PC and try heavens benchmark with no OC or anything and it works fine then I try my normal OC and it's fine I lasted about 20 mins before getting off because it seemed fine. I don't know if I should be worried or not and maybe try investing in a new card?

    1. you can try clean boot to turn off security software temporarily. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/how-to-perform-a-clean-boot-in-windows-da2f9573-6eec-00ad-2f8a-a97a1807f3dd.
    2. Install the graphics card, motherboard, CPU chipset driver from the manufacturer's official website.
    3. Add this game to its graphics software for high performance, or temporarily turn off GPU hardware acceleration.
    4. Restore BIOS default settings, or update the BIOS firmware version.
    5. If it doesn’t work, could you capture a dump for us to analyze what happened on your computer?

Ryzen 3000 series processors run a little hotter than expected and you will see a temperature spike anywhere from 40-60 degrees on even idle.

For the time being if you want to control the temperatures manually, you can use the power saver mode in windows power and sleep setting. Make sure the Processor Power Management Min is set to 5% and Max is set to 99%.
