I'm using the Graph Explorer (https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/graph/graph-explorer) to try "create a new application". As-is with the POST request returns "MethodNotAllowed." Am I missing something?
What all Application properties you are passing as part of body to the API endpoint ? "Display Name" is required property for the application object. Have you tried using only display name in body. I am able to create the application without any issues ?
Hi @SaurabhSharma-msft Below is a screenshot of what I am getting. Also clicked consent on the permissions but it does not seem to make a difference. I am logged in with my account. It's also worth mentioning it is a personal account.
@TACTICS You need to provide the consent to the respective permission (Directory.AccessAsUser.All) using an administrator account before you execute the command. Once consented your screen will look like below -

Hi @SaurabhSharma-msft yes I still cannot get past this step. Are personal accounts not considered Administrator accounts? Is there a place where I can verify I’ve got the right permissions?

@TACTICS-2329 No, it is not like that. You can provide global administrator access to personal accounts as well. You need to go to Azure portal > Azure Active Directory > Users and select your user then go to Assigned Roles to check the access given to the user. You can add new permissions using "Add assignments" from the blade. (See screenshot below)
