Hi, can you help me with this ?

I 'm using Data Assistan Migration and when trying to connect to a SQL Server 2000 to start an Assessment I get the following error:

Connection to the server failed.
Line 2: Incorrect syntax near 'max'.
Line 4: Incorrect syntax near 'max'.
Must declare the variable '@hosting _platform'.
Must declare the variable '@hosting _platform'.
Must declare the variable '@hosting _platform'.
Must declare the variable '@sqlSelectQuery'.

I have looked for information but I have not found anything, I already verified that the connection to the server works correctly

Thank you very much and best regards

    Hi @Anonymous ,

SQL server 2000 is not supported for Data Migration Assistant. Please check below screenshot.

Refer to the MS document Overview of Data Migration Assistant.

For SQL server 2000, suggest you using Upgrade advisor. You can download it from here.

In addition, SQL server 2000 is out of supported for a long time, don't let your infrastructure and applications go unprotected, please upgrade your SQL server to a newer version.
