Create shared folder sharepoint

Hello all,

This first time on SharePoint and need in work create shared folder, but when I open site I can't create folder on root like Quality and Global on left pan, only can create folder under "Quality or Global".

SharePoint Office 365

Thanks for support and explain how create folder on the root and if any tools to manage SharePoint from laptop or only mange online.

    1. In the SharePoint Online, you can only create folders in document library and list. You can't create folders on root like Quality and Global in the left panel. It’s by default.
    2. You can only manage SharePoint sites online. Update:
    3. For create a new list or library in the left panel, go to Home page -> New -> List or Document library -> Click "Show in site navigation".

    4. For existing list or library shows in the left panel, go to list settings or library settings -> List name, description and navigation -> Set "Display this list on the Quick Launch?" as Yes.
