It was fine until yesterday night I was playing games and my comp froze. So I restarted my comp and I notice that my sound was not working and my bottom right sound icon had a cross beside it. I tried searching up how to solve it but most of them are not working. So can pls anyone help me? ;-;

i also saw this in my device manager

    Hi archie.c

    I am Dave, I will help you with this.

    The best first option is to go to the support page for your PC on the manufacturers website, then from there, download and install the version of Audio card device drivers they recommend.

    2

    Then, in the Settings App, go to System - Troubleshoot, go to Other Troubleshooters, and run the Playing Audio troubleshooter.

    I will find the best driver for you, click your Start Button, then just type msinfo and press Enter, please provide a screenshot of the resulting system information window.

    Hi archie.c

    You should download and install the Windows 10 Realtek audio drivers from the link below, that driver will also be Windows 11 compatible.
