Microsoft Private Store is no longer private after a reset

Hi,

I have the following problem.

We have set up a Private Store, where the user in the Microsoft Store only sees the apps that we have assigned.

This is all fine, and fortunately we don't have the problem that an extra account can be added such as a private account with which you can still download public apps that are not assigned. So this is not our problem, because I can find a lot about this.

What problem we did find is the following.

We found out through an incident, that every time an app is started from the Store, the Store automatically closes and the app is also not started.

We solved this problem by performing the "wsreset".

However, after the "wsreset" the public store become available again, and all apps can be downloaded and started again.
When the computer is restarted, the private store is only available again.

My question here, how can I make sure that the public store is no longer available in any way, and therefore also not by executing the "wsreset"?

Hopefully you can answer my question.

Thanks in advance.

Make sure you have configured Group Policy correctly:

To show private store only in Microsoft Store app

Type gpedit in the search bar, and then select Edit group policy (Control panel) to find and start Group Policy Editor.

In the console tree of the snap-in, go to User Configuration or Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components, and then click Store.

Right-click Only display the private store within the Microsoft Store app in the right pane, and click Edit.

This opens the Only display the private store within the Microsoft Store app policy settings.

On the Only display the private store within the Microsoft Store app setting page, click Enabled, and then click OK.

    Hello @Samuel Vallas

I'm not sure is this the known issue? Have you tried set up a new private and test.

You may sign in and look for topics on Support page:
Sign in to Microsoft Store for Business 2.Choose Manage> Support.

    Best Regards
