Hello. I signed up for the student subscription with the school email. I was able to do some tasks for a while, but after that, I couldn't continue because it said my subscription was disabled. What should I do next?

    @Antwone Santino Ong
    Thank you for your post!

    Can you share some more details so I can gain a better understanding of your issue?

    • What tasks were you doing? Were you just deploying resources or just navigating through the Azure portal?
    • Did you leverage any free Azure credits? If so, can you confirm, from your Subscriptions tab, that the "Current cost" of your subscription doesn't exceed the free credit amount?

    Based off the error message you're receiving, you can select the "Add" button, from the subscriptions tab to see if you're eligible for an Azure free account or Pay-As-You-Go.

    Thank you for your time and patience throughout this issue.

    I have the same problem, my Azure student subscription got disabled and i cant figure out why. I raised tickets (4), but no proper response. All those responses were bots with the same message and no clue what's going on. I was preparing for AZ-104. So, I decided to poke around and explore my Azure account. I remember what I did, I'm listing it as follows

    • Created 2 policies based on (Resource and Resource Group)
    • Tested the compliances of those policies by creating few resource groups (3). I deleted them once I was done. I left one 1 resource group as for more tests.
    • Tried to create VM (Free Plan Linux - 750 Hrs) to check my resource policy. which disallowed any creation of resources
    • I didn't access Azure Shell AKA ( I neither created a storage account nor a file share)
    • Then the next day my account got disabled with no reasons. I didn't create any other resources that wasn't mentioned above.
    • Not a dollar is spent on my Azure account, its 100$ as I use it with at most priority to use my account efficiently to learn.
    • My Azure Balance
