6 unread emails are displayed, only 3 are actually unread. The other 3 emails have been read, but still show blacked unread, right click to set as read, the message still shows unread status (blacked unread ) What is the cause of this failure and how to solve it

    Hi @任永杰 ,

    What's the type of your account(pop,imap or exchange)?

    I noticed this issue seems to occur on 3 specific emails, are there any similarities on them(specific sender, folder or others )? If so, it's suggested to first check if there are some rules that may affect this issue in your Outlook and try to uncheck your rules to test.

    If they are actually 3 random messages, as I know, any add-ins may also affect it, please try to restart your Outlook in safe mode and mark them to read again for testing(Windows + R>type "Outlook.exe /safe">enter).

    Also, if you are working with IMAP or Exchange, this issue would occur when there are any sync errors between your server and client, it's suggested to first try to log into your web mail and mark all as read there, then restart your Outlook and send/receive your message manually(click "F9") to check if the issue has any difference.
