Hi All.
A few years ago we had a vendor install a Biztalk 2016 platform into our organisation. We've now learned that they've installed BizTalk 2016 Enterprise in our non-prod environments instead of Developer edition - which has licensing implications.
Does anyone know, or have tried to "Upgrade" a BizTalk 2016 installation from Enterprise to Developer edition?
Is there a process that should be followed?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
You can't "upgrade" in that direction, if you try to run the Installer it will tell you that.
It will be a matter of either un-configuring and then uninstalling Enterprise, and then installing Developer and joining the existing database, or creating a new environment with Developer edition.
