A third-party domain's tenant appears in switch tenant list

Went to switch from our main tenant to a test tenant (Azure Active Directory, Overview, switch) and there was a third tenant from another company listed.

I'm the admin and I've not made any associated changes to our tenant's relationship. They are one of our clients but there's no formal connection in AD, Sharepoint, Teams, Exchange (e.g. Organization sharing) etc

Anyone know why it might appear or where I might be able to find what's causing it?

You were probably added as Guest (B2B) user in their tenant. This is not a "tenant relationship", the list of tenants shown there relate only to your user account.

To anyone that's following this question, I've managed to get a technical contact at the third party and, hopefully, will be able to find out what they've done.

(Somehow I've ended up with two accounts on here, oh the joys of having to keep an old Hotmail account going)
