I am using windows 10 Pro ver.20H2, build 19042.928. My home LAN has an RT-AC86U router and a Synology DS214play NAS. The NAS ("diskstation") shows up under network in file manager but, when I try to map a shared folder on the NAS to a drive, Win Credential Manager refuses to accept the correct user ID and Password.

    @Leila Kong
    Leila Kong, Thanks for your reply. A Dell Inspiron purchased a few weeks ago with win 10 Home has no problem mapping the NAS folders as drives. Everything else gives:

    Hopefully, you can assess the .png file.

    I have tried all of your referenced fixes with no joy.
