Mac Remote Desktop 10.6.0 - Unable to login with local / non-domain administrator account

Since updating to Microsoft Remote Desktop Client for Mac v10.6.0, my saved connections to Windows 2016 servers now default to the DOMAIN\Administrator login rather than the local administrator account.

Additionally, attempting to use names like 'computer\Administrator', 'computer.domain\Administrator' '.\Adminstrator' and '\Administrator' all still log in to the .DOMAIN user account instead of the local account.

Is anyone else seeing this and anyone found a workaround?

Thanks,

Ed

    Hello @Ed ,

1.Did you try the latest Version of Mac Remote Desktop 10.6.2 (1874)? Will it have the same issue?

2.Please check if you saved domain accounts in the rdp file, and try to change password for problem account.

    Best regards,
    Leila
