Can't access Hyper-V files

Hello everyone,
So I have been trying for hours literally to figure out this issue. I recently set up Hyper-v on a r620 server. I am now trying to create a VM but am unable to because I can't get the image to Hyper-v. I have tried navigating through explorer \HV-SERVER\c$ this doesn't work. Without being able to get access to the drive on Hyper-v I can't install anything. Vm-Manager works great everything is working. I am wondering is there something I need to do with the virtual switch? How can I copy images to the server so I can use them for VM's? I appreciate the time and help.
Thanks!

Try putting the ISO on removable media and browse to it here.

I tried. It doesn't show up anywhere in the hyper-v file system. I navigate to C: and theres only some folders from the OS. I am seriously stumped on this.

I guess you didn't read? Try putting the ISO on removable media and browse to it there (see above).

Hey, I was trying to do that but the drive wasn't showing up on the server. I ran diskpart list volume. It just wasn't there. I ended up rebooting the server and after that was able to navigate to the thumb drive and cp the .iso over. I guess it was just not recognizing the drive. I appreciate the time and help.
