Hi All,

From my main directory, I created a new B2C tenant and creation process finished successfully, I can even switch to the other directory. Now, I need to link my B2C directory to an existing subscription. For this to happen:

  • I need to have a B2C tenant which is not linked to any subscription
  • I need to have global administrator role in the b2c tenant
  • I need to have contributor role in the subscription I want to link b2c tenant to.

I can confirm the above three conditions are met in my case, but when I want to link my tenant I cannot choose my b2c tenant in the dropdown

Am I missing something here? Is there any delay for the new directory to appear hear?

Thanks,
Arad

    @Arad Haghi
    Thank you for your post!

    Based off our Create a B2C tenant article, and walking through this myself, you should've linked your B2C tenant to your Azure subscription during creation.

    You can confirm this by navigating to your:
    B2C tenant -> AzureAD B2C -> Confirm you have a Subscription ID and the "Subscription status" shows as registered

    Navigating back to my AzureAD tenant -> Subscriptions:

    There is no option for us to remove selecting Azure Subscription.
