icons disappeared after xamarin 5.0.0.2012 update

after i updated my xamarin.forms package to 5.0.0.2012, all my icons disappeared, also using resizetizer.nt

2021-04-19T09:01:36.757+00:00 i reverted back to version 5.0.0.1905 and it worked again, but I'd really like to know why they disappeared in the first place!
