Visual studio crashes when create/load new project

Hey
For some reason when i try to create a project with Visual studio 2019 (Enterprise edition) it just crashes, managed to create the sln files but then whenever it tries to open it with visual studio it crashes down.
I've tried with .NET core 2.1 and 3.1 but none works.
How can i fix this issue?
Thanks in advance
edit: It doesn't create the SLN files even at some tries.

Could also be a permissions issue. Try saving the solution to a local, simple path that you have write permissions to such as C:\Temp or something.
Temporarily disable AV and see if AV is blocking the request.

2021-04-21T15:36:17.18+00:00 Hi!
Ran in Safe mode and it gave me the following error:Also tried changing the path to a simpler one but didn't work.
And also tried switching of my MBAM (AV) but to no avail.Michael Taylor 41,431 Reputation points2021-04-21T16:10:06.683+00:00 Does it have an issue if you create a .NET Framework console app, or a C++ app?
Benya 1 Reputation point2021-04-21T17:36:10.553+00:00 Well regarding .NET framework yes its the same...
Tried to install the C++ packages but for some reason i can't use the installer anylonger and i cannot either uninstall visual studio for some reason it just gives an error message. Now trying to uninstall with the
"%programfiles(x86)%\Microsoft Visual Studio\Installer\resources\app\layout\InstallCleanup.exe"Add: I re-installed everything again and along with C++ tools as well and tried start a new project with it as well but does not work, it crashes every time...
Think im going to try install it on a other hard drive after this i guess...

Could this have to do with a concern i had before regarding during startup it says "checking disk chkdsk if you dont want to you can press any button on the keyboard" or something alike.
I've had some BSOD also before but nothing serious (i thought)Please let me know if you can help.

2021-04-21T20:19:17.19+00:00 You'll get a chkdsk message at startup in many cases if you previously had a BSOD. Windows basically sets a dirty flag at startup and clears it at shutdown. During startup if it sees the dirty flag is already set then the previous session crashed and it does some basic maintenance. Not sure under what situations it decides to run chkdsk but I suspect it'll run it if it was in the middle of an IO. The BSOD probably isn't related to this problem.
Ultimately I think you're going to have to use VS's Report a Problem to replicate the issue and send the necessary logs to MS for analysis. But to perhaps do a little digging run VS with the /log and a log file. It'll generate an XML file that contains the activity. After the issue occurs then open the XML file in a browser. The errors are in red. While it is common to see warnings and errors in this log what you're looking for is anything related to creating a project.
devenv.exe /log c:\temp\CreateCrash.xml
Michael Taylor 41,431 Reputation points2021-04-21T20:20:06.427+00:00 As another option create a temporary user account and log in as them. Then start VS and try to create a project. If it works then it might be related to a corrupt VS profile. Calling VS with the /resetsettings may resolve the issue.

Welcome to Microsoft Q&A!
Have you installed other versions of VS on your computer? And check if the same situation appears or not.
According your information, it seems be caused by your Operating System, please try to update your Windows to the latest version and refer to the following guide to fix your Windows errors:
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/troubleshoot/windows-server/deployment/fix-windows-update-errors
Then, run your VS as administrator to try again.Sincerely,

2021-04-23T09:45:06.58+00:00 Sadly i couldn't wait anymore so i made a full re-installation of my operating system.
Drastic move i know but i had to, i tried so many things but it just didn't work out.Note; I had the latest updates for windows 10 and tried to do sfc / dism and re-install visual studio to other drives.
I suspect it has something to do with the revo-uninstaller software which uninstalls remaining files and more to help remove remnants of applications that you want to remove (However i can't recall uninstalling any program that has relation to Visual studio).
This wont be able to be resolved due to the fact that i have re-installed my entire operating system.
Visual studio is working now but this with full re-installation of the operating system(Win 10pro)
