For your first question, I found the two articles can be helpful for you. These two articles explain what will happen after you disabling deduplication (if I understand correctly, you have disabled deduplication right?) and the suggestions after you disable deduplication:

For your second question, I want to firstly check the goal that you exactly want to achieve. You mean you want to "recover" from it. If you have successfully disable deduplication, then you just keep your DPM volume working properly as what you did before accidentally enabling deduplication, so I can barely understand what you want to recover to. Which kind of status of your backup you want to achieve?
