Opening links in new tab minimises window on Edge for MacOS

Hi all,
I've been facing a strange issue recently (perhaps this is due to an update?).
Worth noting is that I'm on MacOS Catalina with Edge v90.0.818.46.
Whenever I click a link that is set to open in a new tab (think creating a new Google Doc), the window I'm currently on will minimise itself.
I can go to my Dock and recover the window, but this is just somewhat unsettling.

I test with macOS Big Sur with Edge version 90.0.818.49 and don't find the issue.
I suggest that you can try to test in Edge InPrivate window to see if it can fix the issue. If possible, you can also update your macOS and Edge to the latest version to see if the issue still exists.
Besides, I'd like to know does the issue only occur when you create a new Google doc, or it occurs when you open a link in new tab on whatever website?
