Hi,

I just got a new mini PC with windows 11 preinstalled. At my initial set up It displayed the ‘defaultuser0’ with a section for password. I have not been able to move past this screen.

What can I do to remove and complete my set up

    Hi,

Sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue.

The "defaultuser0" indicates that the factory reset didn't finish successfully. The first thing that you can try is to factory reset your computer again and check if the OOBE screen will be opened.

1-Restart your computer while holding the “Shift” button

2-The Advanced Startup menu will open on the boot.

    3-Go to Troubleshoot.

4-Now, go to Advanced Options > Reset this PC

5-Select the option to remove everything and wait until finished

If the factory reset fails again, it indicates that your Windows installation is corrupted and you will need to reinstall Windows.

You can see at this link how to perform a clean installation of Windows.
