Why would I be denied access to my email when Im overseas?

I try to access my email or personal files and Im denied access. "The requested URL was rejected. Please consult with your administrator" I got a support ID with this message.

    No one here knows anything about your email service or how you access your personal files when you're away from home, so it's all guesswork for us, unless you have more information to share.

    Here's my guess: Since whatever problems you are having apparently happen when you are overseas, it may be that the software you are using is setup not to accept requests from overseas. That would likely be a security feature, to stop attackers from other countries from accessing your personal data.
