    Hello Apo Ster.

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

Regarding to your information I assume that you can't set your computer to 4k 144 hz.

Your issue seems to be related to insufficient bandwidth of your cable. The output screen specifications appear to be an

    HDMI 2.0 bandwidth output signal.

If your graphics card driver and the graphics card itself support this output mode, please ensure that you are using an HDMI 2.1 or DP 1.4 (DSC)

DP 2.0 interface and cable, and then check if you are able to display the 4K 144 signal.

You can also check if the relevant settings can be configured within your graphics card driver software (both Nvidia and AMD have such features).

If there is anything not clear, please do not hesitate to let me know.

    Hello Apo Ster.

    Thanks for your reply.

According to the information of AOC's official website.

I checked on the AOC official website and found that the 4k 120 model of the monitor is the limit of the HDMI cable (HDMI 2.0 port).

For 4K 144, you will need to use a DP1.4 specification cable (which will enable DSC function and may cause a black screen when you switch

to full screen. If you encounter this issue after changing the DP cable, it is normal).

If there is anything not clear, please do not hesitate to let me know.
