Removing Ease of Access button on login screen Windows 10

For some reason it is no longer possible to remove the ease of access button on the login screen with the recommended registry edit.

We were using the registry edit:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows Embedded\EmbeddedLogon with BrandingNeutral value 8.

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/customize/desktop/unattend/microsoft-windows-embedded-embeddedlogon-brandingneutral

But it no longer does anything on windows build 22H2 or later.

The only other option i found was disabling Utilman.exe entirely but that also disables these features when logged in.

Anyone else has had this issue?

    Dear IT admin 92923

Thank you for posting in the Microsoft community.

Regarding your question this registry entry is no longer valid in WINDOWS 10 High and WINDOWS 11 under testing.

Most of the current programs no longer work in the new UI, which may be related to Microsoft's change to the Easy Access logic in the login options.

For this issue, you are correct in your conclusion that the only way to prevent the use of Easy Access at this time is by disabling the entire process. Of course for your group policy and registry function issue is beyond the scope of forum support.
