    Hi

My name is Bernard and hopefully, this will help answer your question, I experience the same issue before just follow the steps below and hope that will fix the issue.

Method 1. Check if recycle bin is on Startup

    • Open Task manager (Press CTRL+Shift+ ESC)

-Click on Startup tab and disable all unnecessary apps on startup

    • Restart the device and check

-If issue persist follow the steps below.

Method 2. Do clean boot - This will disable all third party apps running in background that is not needed to minimize conflict with other applications.

    • Press Windows key + R the type in MSCONFIG then Hit OK
    • Click on Services Tab> Check Hide all Microsoft Services> Click Disable All
    • Hit apply then click OK

-Restart PC and check it again.

If issue persist you may use Sysinternals to check and delete the pop up on start.

    Download the Autoruns.exe here: http://live.sysinternals.com/Autoruns.exe

Open the folder where you download the Autoruns.exe

    Right Click Autoruns.exe

Delete all highlighted with Pink and Yellow (There might be error on some entries, just ignore it)

Restart PC and check it again.

Let me know how does it goes and I hope that helps.

In method two I disable all services and startup programs from the task manager and restart it. Then after restarting the PC there is no error but when I enable Microsoft ® Windows Based Script Host (script) from the startup program, after restarting the PC the same error appeared. Is wscript a virus malware or a windows essential program?   ![](https://learn-attachment.microsoft.com/api/attachments/06b80ef7-f467-468f-9f92-7acd649b7e2d?platform=QnA
