Missing Notepad.exe after Windows Update to version 19041.329 of Windows 10 Pro

My Notepad.exe file is missing and it is not in my Recycle Bin, nor is it in System32.  I recently updated to version 19041.329 on Windows 10 Pro.  I tried to install it from the Windows Store but the Store indicated that my version of Windows was to old.  How can I get Notepad please?

Hi Steven

Open the Settings App (gear icon on your Start Menu)

Go to Apps, then click Optional Features

Then click 'Add a Feature'

Is Notepad available to add new feature?

Hi DaveM121. Thanks for responding so quickly. Yes, Notepad was there. I have now successfully installed it.  Sorry, I didn’t realize that it was now optional. Thanks again!
