MSVCP140.dll and VCRUNTIME140.dll was not found.

I've been playing Grand Theft Auto 5 perfectly without a problem but then around two weeks of playing I suddenly couldn't open/launch the game due to system error codes saying:

***The code execution cannot proceed because MSVCP140.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem.***

Promptly after that I would get the next system error,

The code execution cannot proceed because VCRUNTIME140.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem.

(LauncherPatcher.exe - System Error)

My computer is about one month old but I have no idea what this is about and I really need help.

    Hi ghosty.ita

I am Dave, I will help you with this.

Click the link below, on that page is a multi-installer for the Visual C++ 2015, 2017 and 2019 redistributables.

Please Note, regardless of whether your version of Windows 10 is 32bit or 64bit, you must download and install both the x86 and x64 versions, do not try to install the ARM64 version:

Then, restart (not shut down) your PC.
