Windows 11 slow startup and lags right after startup

Good Day,

I have a Dell Inspiron 15 3576 with Windows 11 Home installed. The startup on it is quite slow and it also lags quite a lot for the first ten minutes after startup. It is lightning fast after that. The startup is around 6 minutes and I can't use it at all for the first ten minutes right after startup. All startup apps are disabled, I also disabled some unnecessary services. Any help is appreciated

Thank You

Hello Jyothi, welcome to the Microsoft community, I'll be happy to help you today;

I understand that after an update Windows 11 is starting slowly;

Initially I recommend that you do a disk cleanup;

Press Windows key + R and type: cleanmgr press Enter;

Click on Clean system files and wait for the files to load;

Select all files and click OK to delete them;

Enable fast boot;

Access the Control Panel and click on System and Security;

Click on Power Options;

Click on Choose what the power buttons do in the menu on the left;

Click Change settings not currently available;

Check the option "Turn on fast startup (Recommended)";

Click Save Changes;

Restart the PC and check if the startup is still slow;

Hope this helps, see you soon!

    Thank You Luiz! The startup is now under 3 minutes and I need about 2 more minutes to use the PC normally.

    Uhh then it will be slow no matter what you do. Even if you change some stuff it won't make a big difference.

    Hi! You can check the startup items and disable all the unneeded things. And do you have an HDD? Windows lags a lot of startup on HDD (I myself use it LOL).
