Allow Input for Windows 11 Connect

I screencasted my phone, realme C25, to my PC, ASUS ROG Strix Windows 11, using the Windows Connect.

I would like to know how to allow input from my PC, mouse and keyboard, to interact with my phone. I saw and have tried it before on a different laptop, Asus Vivobook 14 Windows 10, and it works via a checkbox on the Action Center / Notification Bar thingy

I do not see a similar checkbox on my Windows 11 notification bar and I can't find any option in the settings:

Windows for home | Windows 11 | Display and graphics

I just checked and indeed it doesn't show for me as well. It looks like they removed the same for sure.

Feel free to ask any other questions. Have a good week.

    Hi Bon,

I am Sumit here to assist you with this question.

I believe the option was removed in Windows 11. Was ROG Strix a touch screen device?

    Hi Sumit,

No, the ROG Strix is not a touch screen device unfortunately. If the option is removed its pretty unfortunate. I can only wish that Microsoft brings that back.

Thank you very much for the assistance!

I am having the same issue now, both for Windows 11 and Windows 10. I couldn't find the toggle in Windows 10, and I couldn't find the "Connect" button on Windows 11's Action Center. But I was able to control my Android phone mirrored in my computer before using my computer mouse and keyboard. I hope they could fix it as wireless mirroring is much more convenient than having my phone connected to a monitor via HDMI/ USB Hub/ dongles.
