[unsolve] Windows unable to complete the format

Question

since, i try to format my external drive because of MS technician suggest me to format it

I passed around 5 techinician of MS and no one can help me.

After i re-install windows 11 and cleaning my computer i still cannot format my external drive.

i try so many way and let MS assistant remote to my computer to fix it but cannot work.

now i'm at the end of one's wits

Please check if it is possible through the procedures below.

First open the Command Prompt, press Windows + R, type cmd and click OK.

1. In the Prompt type DISKPART, when it opens, DISKPART will appear on the left.
2. Type LIST DISK, this command will list the hard drives installed on the machine, pay close attention not to choose the wrong hard drive.
3. Type SELECT DISK “X”, in place of the X put the number for the HD you want to format, put without quotes.
4. Now just type the commands below and press Enter at each command.
5. Commands:

CLEAN

CREATE PARTITION PRIMARY

SELECT PARTITION 1

ACTIVE

FORMAT FS=NTFS QUICK

ASSIGN

EXIT

EXIT

i do it until process no.4

but i cannot go to number5 My external drive is Disk 1

On number5 process i need to click Enter or just type follow you (Do i need to type Commamds?)

so sad, last month. i just use my external drive as normal.
