Adding programs to "open with" menu?

Is there are a way to add additional programs to the "open with" menu, instead of having to alway click the "choose another app" option. ~

Before anyone suggest it, i know once you choose another app you can click the box to always use that program for that particular file. But i don't want that.
In this case the files i am talking about are 3D model .stl files. I have a few programs on my computer that open these which i go between from time to time.
As you can see in the screen shot "meshmixer" is already in the list. But i also use programs/slicers called "Cura" and "chitubox" depending on if i am FDM or resin printing. So i want to add these programs to that list also.
As the Meshmixer program is in the list (and its not something that automatically comes with windows), then sure others can be added to that list too?

Thank you in advance for your time and help and forgive me if this is a bit of a silly question, as i'm not that technically minded when it comes to computers.

I guess that would be too complicated for you. Here's another solution that I found. You can use a free tool to add the program in Open with. I just tested it and I was able to add an app immediately on the Open with. The tool doesn't require installation so you would only have to open it.
    https://defaultprogramseditor.com

    • When the tool opens, click on File Type Settings > Click on "Change Open with programs" (See image below)
    • Select .stl file type then click Next
    • Click on Add then locate the app
    • Once done, click on "Save 'Open With' list
      Image
      That's it.

Thank you once again (and for your patients).

Again, followed the instructions. But this has made no difference to the "open with" menu.
I selected the file "stl" and clicked next. The window that then opens already has the programs that open the file in it.
These solutions seem to be more for if a particular file can't be opened by a certain program. Which isn't my issue. The programs i want to the open these stl files do open them. The programs simply don't appear in the immediate list, apart from the meshmixer program. I assumed that as this program is in the list, that others can be added to it save the extra steps everytime.

Have you tried to re-add them and test if they will show on the immediate list? Even though they're already showing in the tool, try to add and locate them again then save the list then see if there will be changes in the Open With.

Yes i did that. The only things that differs when i do this is that the "scope" list changes for each program i re-add and the is blank next the relative program.
I then checked the results and it was still the same. I then re-started my PC to see if that helped make the changes, but it did not.

I see. The only workaround that I can think of is using the Send to in context menu. Have you tried it yet?

The send to works. But i can only 2 of the programs (cura and chitubox), i can't add windows 3D builder. So i am still effectively having to utilise different menus. The idea was to have everything in hte one place.
