In that case, the solution is to create a shortcut for the 3D builder. You can easily create one by opening the Apps folder.
- Press Windows key + R then enter shell:appsfolder
- Click on 3D builder then drag it to the sendto folder

Is there are a way to add additional programs to the "open with" menu, instead of having to alway click the "choose another app" option. ~
Before anyone suggest it, i know once you choose another app you can click the box to always use that program for that particular file. But i don't want that.
In this case the files i am talking about are 3D model .stl files. I have a few programs on my computer that open these which i go between from time to time.
As you can see in the screen shot "meshmixer" is already in the list. But i also use programs/slicers called "Cura" and "chitubox" depending on if i am FDM or resin printing. So i want to add these programs to that list also.
As the Meshmixer program is in the list (and its not something that automatically comes with windows), then sure others can be added to that list too?
Thank you in advance for your time and help and forgive me if this is a bit of a silly question, as i'm not that technically minded when it comes to computers.

Im sure im begining to annoy you, for which i apologise.
But it would seem the gods do not wish for this issue to find a solution.
I tried you last suggestions. While on the face of things it seems that a short cut is added to the "Send to" folder. However, when it comes to opening an stl file and using the "send to" option from the menu, the 3D builder shortcut does not appear. Tried this several times. Maybe with it being in the "open with" menu already.
No worries, TK. It's fine :)
I revisited your screenshots, it looks like the 3D builder is the default app that you're using. I just realized, Isn't it unnecessary to put it in the Sendto context menu since you only need to double-click it to open the file? Now you only need to put the meshmixer instead, isn't it?
