How to Fix Constant and Frequent BSOD errors on Windows 11. Stop code: SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION What failed: win32kfull.sys | Stop code: KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED

Hello, community,

I'm on a DELL G5 15 laptop using Windows 11. Around 2 weeks ago, I've been receiving frequent BSOD errors that usually show stop codes: SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION (win32kbase.sys failed or tcpip.sys failed) and KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED. Occasionally I will receive stop codes: IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL and PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA.  Some crashes occur right when I start up and some happen several times every few minutes. Sometimes I can go hours without my computer crashing.

- All my drivers are up to date

- My computer is up to date, though one cumulative update fails to install due to BSOD crashes

- Errors seemed to occur after updating System Firmware to version 1.12.0, so I rollbacked to the previous version, but errors persisted. Also, my McAfee virus protection says “we’re fixing real-time scanning.” (I’m not sure if this has something to do with the problem)

- System File Checker Scan: Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations.

- DISM did not find any issues

I can’t seem to identify the source of the problem, and I'm afraid of trying anything too “radical” on my own to fix the problem. Also, please keep in mind I’m definitely no computer wiz and I’m only in high school.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.

    Hi Alex,

Thanks for sharing the minidump file.

The minidump files do not name any driver only indicate ntkrnlmp.exe which is a Windows component that means something else drove the system to a fault or it could be a memory corruption that usually happens due to driver incompatibility.

To troubleshoot this issue, kindly try the steps below (skip a step that you have already tried):

    1-Check for updates:

Go to Settings > Update and Security > Check for update > install all the pending updates

2-Uninstall the graphics card driver completely using the DDU free tool:

    https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-dr...

Then, install the latest driver provided on the manufacturer's website.

3-Run Command Prompt as administrator. Type this command and hit enter:

    dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth

Then, type these commands and hit enter:

    sfc /scannow

    chkdsk /f

4-If you are overclocking your PC, try running everything (CPU, GPU, system memory) at their stock speeds. See if the issue is still reproducible. Or, turn off XMP profile or set it to Auto.

5-Download then install the latest version of BIOS & Chipset drivers from the manufacturer's website.

    6-Run the Windows Memory Diagnostic:

    https://www.howtogeek.com/260813/how-to-test-yo...

7-If you are comfortable of doing so, take all the system memory sticks out, examine them for any obvious defects, and then reseat them into the sockets. Make sure that they are seated properly in their slots. If you have multiple sticks of system memory installed and you suspect one is faulty, one thing to try is to reproduce the issue with only one stick of memory module at a time. This will help you to isolate the faulty module.

8-If the issue still persists, do a repair install of Windows 11 using an Installation Media:

Please do not hesitate to ask if you need further assistance.

    Stay safe

    Hi AlexS,

I'm Dyari. Thanks for reaching out. I will be happy to assist you in this regard.

Kindly check C:\Windows\Minidump and copy available minidump files to the desktop then share them with me in order to analyze them to indicate which file is causing the BSOD.
