Hello, folks.

I'm on Windows 10 Pro.

A software update app is telling me to update Visual C++2015-2022 Redistributable.

Specifically, the versions I need to download are:

14.44.35208.0 (x64)

14.44.35208.0 (x86)

It seems I'm looking in all the wrong places, because I can't seem to find either one. At your convenience, can you tell me where to find and download them?

Kind thanks for your help!

    Hi, This is Ramesh.

According to the official VC++ redist download portal, the latest version is 14.44.35112.1. I'm unsure whether 14.44.35208.0 was released and later pulled, or if the portal is outdated.

By the way, the direct download links for 14.44.35208.0 are below.

    (x64)

    Hi,

When you install the latest VC++ redist 2015-2022 runtimes, the previous one (belonging to 2015-2022) is uninstalled, and its package cache is removed before the latest one is installed. However, earlier versions, such as 2013, 2012, and 2010, won't be removed if you install the latest 2015-2022 runtimes.

    Hey, Ramesh.

Your help is much appreciated, and thanks. 🙂

I have a general question about upgrades to Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables......

Does the latest upgrade overwrite previous versions of these files? Or, does Windows retain all versions?

Should I keep copies of each version?

I ask, because sometimes older software needs an older version of a Windows file to run properly.

Again, my thanks! Hope all's well with you.
