@Richkm , For our environment, I notice there's only one c drive in our environment. And now the disk is full. And we want to shrink the Operations Manager DW.
Based as I know, if only the Operations Manager DW is not working, most of the SCOM function can still work.
To shrink OperationsmanagerDW database file size, we can follow the steps in the link below:
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/archive/blogs/csstwplatform/how-to-shrink-operationsmanagerdw-database-file-size
Note: Please ensure backup is done.
For our situation, we recommend to add another disk and move the SCOM databases to the new disk. This can avoid OS down when the disk out of space because of the SCOM database growing fast. To change the SCOM database to a new drive, here is a link for the reference:
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/system-center/scom/manage-move-opsdb?view=sc-om-2019
If the disk is not under our consideration recently, we can try the actions in the following link to reduce the size of our SCOM Data Warehouse size:
https://www.cookdown.com/blog/why-is-it-important-to-reduce-the-size-of-my-scom-data-warehouse
Note: Non-Microsoft link, just for the reference.
Hope it can help.
