Word Mobile - how to turn off autosave

Question

I have recently bought a HP Pavilion 2in1 tablet, with Word Mobile installed.  It does this really annoying autosave (which freezes the screen for about 5 seconds) after every couple of words I write.  Wondering is there any way I can turn this off?  Haven't been able to find anything in settings :( 

I would install full Word but don't think this little thing could handle it!

Hi,

To turn off Auto Save on your tablet, follow the steps below:

1. Tap File> Save.
2. Move the Auto Save slider to Off.

When Auto Save is turned off, you'll see the Save button in the file header.

He is asking for word mobile on windows 10 tablets, not on android .. I have a windows tablet and office 365 account but no option to disable it.

Word Mobile on Android can turn off autosave and it's free, but Word Mobile on Windows 10 for PC / Tablet can not turn off this feature with spend money and must have office 365.

Seriously, Microsoft ??? You care other platform than your own platform? It's so annoying while i'm typing then always freeze 10 seconds.

Looks like that the option to disable autosave is not available anymore, making the use of Word Mobile in devices with slow storage very painful.

Is there a new way to disable autosave or a different solution to make Word Mobile usable on low cost tablets/hybrids?

This options does not appear in the windows 10 word mobiel version.
