I was having problems controlling external speakers on my computer. I went to a product forum and they suggested I can control the volume with the computer volume control. I cannot seem to get the volume control icon to stay in my task bar. Any hints as how to get it there? I am running MS Windows 10 64bit. Thank You.

Hello, thanks for reaching out. I'm Ace, one of the Independent Advisors. I can understand your concern and please don't worry I am here to help you.

If your volume icon is missing from the Windows 10 taskbar, you can restore it by adjusting your taskbar settings. First, go to Settings > Personalization > Taskbar, then scroll down and click Select which icons appear on the taskbar. Ensure that the Volume option is turned on. If it is already enabled but still missing, try toggling it off and back on. Another method is to restart Windows Explorer, which controls the taskbar. Open Task Manager by pressing Ctrl + Shift + Esc, locate Windows Explorer under the Processes tab, right-click it, and select Restart. This refreshes the taskbar and may restore the volume icon. If the issue persists, updating your audio drivers could help. Open Device Manager, expand Sound, video, and game controllers, right-click your audio device, and select Update driver.

Let me know if this works.

    Thanks!
