How do I fix my pc if it won’t turn on at all ?

my pc wont turn on At All whatever i try wont work please help when it was working my AMD Radeon 580 2048sp GPU wasn’t working either it said error code 31

Given that the system isn’t responding even to basic power-up attempts, I highly recommend having the PC physically checked by a technician. They’ll be able to test

and confirm if it’s a simple power button issue or something deeper.

Thank you for reaching out. I’m Adrian, an independent advisor, and I know how stressful it is when your PC won’t power on at all. I'll do my best to help you.

First, just to understand your situation better.

1. Does your PC show any signs of life when pressing the power button? Fans spin, lights blink, or any sound?
2. Have you tried unplugging the PC and holding the power button for 15 seconds, then plugging it back in?
3. Are there any lights on the motherboard or beeping sounds when you try to power it on?
4. Did the PC shut down suddenly while using it, or was it a shutdown you performed manually?
5. Do you have a separate GPU your Radeon 580, or are you using onboard graphics now?

In the meantime, here are the basic power and hardware checks you can try.

> Step 1: Power Source and Cable Check
Try a different power outlet.
Make sure the power cable is firmly connected to both the PC and wall outlet.

If you have a power supply switch (usually on the back of desktops), ensure it is turned ON.

> Step 2: Power Drain Reset
Unplug the PC from the wall.
Hold the power button for 15-20 seconds to drain any residual charge.
Plug it back in and try to turn it on.

> Step 3: Disconnect everything: USB drives, external monitors, printers, etc.
Just leave keyboard, mouse, and power.
Try powering on again.

> Step 4: If no fans, no lights, no beeps, it could be:

• A faulty power supply (PSU)
• A bad motherboard or shorted component

Try powering on again.

My mouse and keyboard turn on but the fans and lights on the pc don’t turn on oh and when I unplugged the power cord and held the power button for 20 seconds the mouse and keyboard lights started to blink on and off
