Latest Update Turns My Screen Green [Dolby Vision]

So, since the latest update Dolby Vision seems to be now forced on for me. Even though it is not ticked in the settings, it still forces it. It turns everything on my screen green. Then if I go into the settings, I turn it on and back off it fixes it. However, when running certain games, it launches with Dolby Vision activated. It's really annoying. When I restart my PC, it kicks back on too and everything goes back green.

Anyone else have this issue?

Yep, that seems to be the only way to resolve it. However, I prefer having HDR on which is the problem. I guess turning it on an off again in the options is the only way to resolve it for the time being.

    Hi ACE,

Nope, nothing works from the options you have asked.

It's still forcing Dolby Vision and turning everything green. I have to keep turning it on and off manually after every restart

    Thanks.

I think I fixed the issue, at least it worked for me. I have an Nvidia 4080 Super so this seems to work with the Nvidia program. At the time, unchecking the “Use Dolby Vision mode” did NOT work. However, here’s what I did:

    1. Open Nvidia Control Panel
    2. Display > Adjust Desktop color settings
    3. Under “3. Apply color enhancement,” look for the “hue” slider and make sure it’s at 0.
    4. If looks normal, select “Apply.”

I’m still able to use HDR, but the Dolby Vision option in Windows settings is unselected.
