I just bought a Lenovo Yoga Slim 7x with Windows 11. I am constantly getting an error message popping up that says this: "C:\Windows\SystemApps\MicrosoftWindows.Client.AIX_cw5n1h2txyewy\AIXHost.exe The application is exiting and cannot service this request."

How do I resolve this issue?

Finally resolved this having waited in vain for Microsoft to update the above.

In the end I went to Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Programs and Features and then clicked Turn Windows features on or off and deselected Recall. Let it reboot and volia error disappeared. You must do this as an Administrator account.

I have added it back by reselecting after the reboot and Recall is back without the error message, so will see how ths goes.

    Hope this helps.

Thanks very much Mr. David and all of you - so far, so good!

I have attempted to follow these directions.

    I entered:

    Get-AppxPackage MicrosoftWindows.Client.AIX

    I then entered:

    PS C:\WINDOWS\system32> Remove-AppxPackage

    I received the following request:

cmdlet Remove-AppxPackage at command pipeline position 1

Supply values for the following parameters:

    Package:

How do I respond to this request? What is the parameter value?

    Thank you,

    Martin

Have you gotten a response? I have the exact same problem, followed the steps here, and arrived at the same place you did with no idea what to put in the prompt after steps 1 and 2.

No, I did not get a response. I found an alternative process. It was a few days ago and I'm going to try to re-trace my footsteps. Sorry, my memory for these things is poor. Ultimately, what I remember is that I disabled AIXhost.exe through MSC. I know that isn't helpful, but give me some time and I'll try to get back to you.
