Receiving Failure Error for 2025-03 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 24H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5053598)

I can't get the Windows 11 update KB5053598 to complete. It downloads and installs to 100% but then the "Updates Failed" error message appears.

I have ran the trouble shooter, tried to install manually and tried other suggested fixes through the cmd prompt... to no avail.

Anyone else having this problem? Any suggestions? Screenshots attached.

    Hi Brad, This is Ramesh.

Error 0x800f081f denotes that some files in the CBS servicing folder are missing. A repair installation via Settings should resolve the issue.

Launch Settings > System > Recovery. Under "Fix problems using Windows Update", select "Reinstall now."

This does a repair installation, keeping your files, apps, and settings.
