(Solved) My Windows 11 pc won't recognize my usb drive.

I want to plug in my Sandisk USB flash drive but the pc doesnt recognize it. The USB connection chime plays, but the file explorer, device managment and disk managment doesn't recognize it. I've plugged it in to all my usb ports but it just doesnt work. It worked 2 days ago.

    I"m 72 years old. I HATE WINDOWS 11. No drives and I am NOT about to change anything. It will mess more stuff up. So what can I do???

    Hello, my name is Anis. I'll be glad to help you today.

    Please reset the USB root hub driver and check.

    Go to Device Manager. (Press Windows+X together, select Device Manager)

    Double click on "Universal Serial Bus Controller" to expand it.

    Right click on the USB Root Hub drivers and select Uninstall.

    Restart the PC. (The drivers will reinstall automatically upon restart)

    Additionally, please test the flash drive on a different PC or device to confirm if this is happening with this particular PC only or not.

    Im experiencing issues with some of my usb inputs like my mouse and microphone not being seen although they are on and plugged in.

    To all who are experiencing problems with an
    Hercules GameSurround Muse XL Pocket LT3 USB [ under windows 11 ]

    I solved my problem [ not getting 5.1 surround sound out the connected Creative Inspire 5.1 ] by using the Cm106.cpl
    residing in the extracted https://ts.hercules.com/download/sound/exe/MUSELT3/2009_GMXLPLT3_2_Win7.exe

    path [ Your Drive...:\Your extracted Path\SoftwareDriver\DLL\ ]

    FYI) I'm 71 Years old \ ALSO HATE WINDOWS 11 \ but alas You don't have Much Other Options With WindOws \ One You Started With It
