Why am I still not receiving the Windows 11 24H2 update?

I keep getting some cumulative updates but so far they stopped appearing, thought that would of been an end but literally no.

I am on a high end system, some people say that games that use EAC could be the issue as it still has some problems with it not really sure if that is true. What else could be causing the issue, I use some things that improve my experience with Windows 11 for example improved task bar app just for my personal usage.+

Hi, I am Dave, I will help you with this.

There are still some hard blocks in place for the 24H2 update on some hardware configurations and also some PC's installed with some games and apps, Microsoft indicate we should not try to force the 24H2 update, but if you do want to try to install that update, the most successful method would be to us the Windows 11 ISO, if there is a hard block on your system for that 24H2 update, you will be notified at the start of the installation that your system is not ready for the update.

Please follow the steps, this is then not like re-installing Windows, it is just like an update and your personal files, settings and installed software will not be affected.

    Click this link:

    https://www.microsoft.com/software-download/win...

to download the Windows 11 ISO

When the ISO file completes downloading

    Disconnect from the Internet

Disconnect all external devices with the exception of a mouse or keyboard.

Temporarily disable any 3rd party Anti-virus you may have installed

Then, in Windows File Explorer, double click the ISO and then run Setup.exe and select the Install option.
