Hello, Paul Banuta
Welcome to the Microsoft community.
Thank you for your feedback. Your new ASUS laptop trackpad has a special gesture: swiping down from the top right corner will jump to the Microsoft Store's ScreenXpert page (app uninstalled.) Windows 11 settings only supports disabling three- or four-finger gestures, and it is not possible to turn off this particular gesture directly. Here are some troubleshooting options:
- Disable the gesture via ASUS Control Software
Check and update ASUS touch drivers
Download the latest touchpad driver from the ASUS website:
ASUS driver download page → Enter the notebook model number → Download the touchpad driver or ASUS Precision TouchPad.
Restart the computer after installation.
Using ASUS Armoury Crate or Smart Gesture
Open the pre-installed Armoury Crate or ASUS Smart Gesture (if present).
In the “Trackpad” or “Gesture” settings, find the option similar to “Edge swipe operation” and turn off the binding related to the top-right corner swipe.
- Try a clean start
Press Windos+R and type :
msconfig
Click on “Services” above, and check the “Hide all Microsoft services” box below. Be sure to check this box, or else disabling some Microsoft services may cause serious problems such as failure to boot. Click “Disable All”. Click “Startup” at the top, click “Open Task Manager”, click “Startup” at the top of the Task Manager (Working Administrator), right click on each of them. Right-click on each item whose “Status” is “Started” and select “Disable”.
After booting, open Task Manager and make sure there are no non-Microsoft processes. See if it returns to normal.
If it is normal, you can open the disabled services, daily use of software, etc., to see if a certain cause of the anomaly.

These steps of "clean boot" might look complicated at first glance. However, to avoid any trouble for you, please follow them in order and step-by step so that it will help you get you back on track.
