Windows 11 24H2 version "Wake from sleep" settings different on each of my laptops

Question

I have 2 laptops both running the latest / same version of Windows 11 Home (24H2 26100.2605). When I select Settings/Accounts/Sign-in Options/If you've been away, when should Windows require you to sign in again? one computer presents a drop list with 2 options (Never & When PC wakes up from sleep). The other computer presents a drop list with multiple options (Never, Every Time, 1 minute, 3 minutes, 5 minutes, 15 minutes)

Thank you for your feedback. Your situation is normal, this is because your PC sleeps in different states.S3 is the first picture showing two options: never and when PC wakes up.S0 is showing multiple options: never, every time, 1 minute, 3 minutes, 5 minutes, 15 minutes.

S0 (Modern Standby) and S3 (Legacy Sleep) are two different power management states. s0 Modern Standby is similar to standby mode on smartphones, allowing the device to quickly enter and exit a low-power state while maintaining network connectivity and other background activities. S3 Traditional Sleep, on the other hand, saves the system state to memory and keeps the device powered up with very low power consumption.

To switch from S3 (legacy sleep) to S0 (modern standby), you first need to determine if your device hardware supports the S0 state. Then, you can configure your system to enable S0 Modern Standby by following the steps below:

Check if the device supports S0 Modern Standby

Search for CMD in the search bar, select Run as Administrator, and enter the following command:

powercfg /a

The system will display the power states supported by your device. If you see “Standby (S0 low power state)”, the device supports S0 modern standby.

Regarding your timely receipt of replies, you can click on this subscribe button. From what you have posted, it appears that there is no way to replace your computer to S0 status at this time as your hardware does not support S0.

Thanks for the very understandable explanation. The below result is from the laptop with the limited options. I suppose there is no way to get S0 state supported???
